Welcome to the ebookers Blog.

This month finds us platypus watching in Australia and exploring caves in Oman. We travel with toddlers in tow and do some deep see fishing while in the area. We pampered ourselves on a cruise.. and then finish up on a small island in the Indian Ocean.

  Hong Kong Review

Hong Kong

The vibrant city of Hong Kong offers a colourful mix of old Chinese traditions and new influences from the past British colonial rule. There are three main areas of Hong Kong – the bustling cities of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, and the mountainous countryside of the New Territories. There are also the outlying islands, which offer more tranquil escapes from the city.

This tiny country island is renowned for its fast-moving technology, fashion and gourmet delights. From the moment you step off into the tremendous Chep Lap Kok airport, you’ll be drawn into the fast pace and high-tech bustling atmosphere.

Shopping
If like me, you enjoy shopping, Hong Kong is a paradise - every road you turn, the gleaming shopping malls

  Talinn

Let me tell you about Tallinn. Not only because it is my humble home town, but because I actually like it. And I do not want you to miss out on the Big Experience if you have not been there yet.

Google search will tell you it is a capital of Estonia, situated in the North-East corner of Europe, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. It gets very cold in winter and quite hot in summer. The best time to visit – all year round.

The best way to get there is by plane, of course. Easyjet and Estonian Air (www.estonian-air.ee) fly regularly from the UK and Germany, SAS and Finnair from Scandinavia. If you are visiting Sweden or Finland, you might want to include Tallinn in your itinerary as a daytrip, as there are good ferry connections from Sto

Lisbon – a city of heritage
  Sarina S/   04/05/07

Lisbon is one of Europe’s leading capital cities and has grown considerably in the past few years as a real contender as a must see.

I travel to Lisbon every year as my family are originally from Portugal and even though I was born in the UK I absolutely adore my heritage and love going back.

The flight to Lisbon from a London airport is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes and many airlines will take you there including BA, TAP and even Monarch.

The airport is very easy to get around, signs are very clear (also in English) and it is very well organised, especially since the European Cup was held there in 2004. The Portuguese updated all the main airports and attractions to cater for the thousands of visitors they had.

Lisbon is a big city so depending on where
