Welcome to the ebookers Blog.

This month finds us platypus watching in Australia and exploring caves in Oman. We travel with toddlers in tow and do some deep see fishing while in the area. We pampered ourselves on a cruise.. and then finish up on a small island in the Indian Ocean.

Malaysia lives up to its reputation as one of South East Asia’s most virulent Tiger economies.  The downturn of the late 90’s is yesterday’s news, these days Malaysia is thriving as it continues to develop a diverse commercial base from technology to palm oil, the impetus behind which is certainly aided by Malaysia rich cultural mix.  The entrepreneurial Chinese community, who make up nearly half the Malaysian population, provide an industrious background to the country’s continued development.  Blend in the Malays’ laidback style and a visibly colourful Indian contingent and it makes of a truly magical Asian mix.

The downside:
To own a car in Malaysia is a status symbol and in a context of economic boom, it’s not surprising to see ba

Whether it’s shopping in Kuala Lumpur, lying on an undiscovered beach on the East Coast or trekking through one of the oldest rainforests in the world “Taman Negra”, there is something for everyone in Malaysia

Itinerary:

Beach: Kuantan-Cherating, Jungle: Taman Negara, City: Kuala Lumpur

Kuantan-Cherating
We started our Trip on the East Coast, flying with Malaysian Airlines to Kuala Lumpur and catching a connecting flight across to Kuantan; the domestic flight takes approx 45 minutes.

We checked into the Impiana Resort hotel in Cherating, The hotel is situated along 1.2km of golden sand beach, one of the finest beaches on the east coast, where the turtles come once a year and lay their eggs at a sanctuary

A city of unbridled energy, dazzling colours, scorching heat and lots and lots of smiles, Bangkok is truly unique. The cacophony of sights, sounds and smells bombards the senses and leaves all who visit "The city of angels, the great city, the eternal jewel city, the impregnable city of God Indra, the grand capital of the world endowed with nine precious gems, the happy city, abounding in an enormous Royal Palace that resembles the heavenly abode where reigns the reincarnated god, a city given by Indra and built by Vishnukam" – to give it its full title – with unforgettable memories. In many ways its name epitomises t

  The Land of Smiles

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Thailand twice; and plan to go again – very soon. It’s the kind of place that you could get quite addicted to; visiting year after year and always discovering something new and different. The main draw; apart from the obvious – amazing beaches, is the people. They are just so incredibly friendly, happy and hospitable. No wonder Thailand is known as the Land of Smiles. Oh, and the food is pretty good too
