Welcome to the ebookers Blog.

This month finds us platypus watching in Australia and exploring caves in Oman. We travel with toddlers in tow and do some deep see fishing while in the area. We pampered ourselves on a cruise.. and then finish up on a small island in the Indian Ocean.

  Cape Town

Nestled between two oceans, Cape Town is full of remarkable beauty and intrigue. On first impressions, it can be disappointing. The road from the airport to the city takes you through the poverty stricken townships of the Cape Flats and then you glimpse a bustling port and a handful of skyscrapers. But drive past the port and you’ll see a different world. Overlooked by the graceful Table Mountain lies a multitude of pretty districts and towns, all with a distinct character and timeless charm.

The best part of Cape Town is the topography. There are few places in the world that mixes powder white beaches with crystal blue sea; towering mountains with gently undulating pastureland. My favourite drive in the world is along

  Kenya

Kenya is situated on the Eastern side of Africa – East Africa. Kenya straddles the equator across the country; glacial ice to arid desert, mountains, rich savannahs, large lakes and dense forests. With all year round weather, beautiful white sand beaches, diverse cultures and the most friendly and warm people, visit this country and be amazed at the colourful sunrise and lovely sunset that is as warm as its people.

The variation in altitude and terrain creates contrasts in climate throughout Kenya; from the hot and humid climate in the coast, to the cool in the central highlands, and dry and very hot in the Northeast. For most areas visited frequently by the tourists the weather is neither too hot nor cold with long sun

  Johannesburg

The destination I would like to tell you all about is Johannesburg South Africa, yes that"s right forget the crime capitals of Columbia, Brazil and Iraq, I have chosen the city of Johannesburg in South Africa.

Why you may ask yourselves and the reason is that after living there for nine months, I can say with complete conviction go to Joburg and you will have one of the best short breaks ever.

Getting there is easy with BA, Virgin, SAA and nationwide amongst other airlines that go, with deals throughout the year.

I would recommend travel
