Welcome to the ebookers Blog.

This month finds us platypus watching in Australia and exploring caves in Oman. We travel with toddlers in tow and do some deep see fishing while in the area. We pampered ourselves on a cruise.. and then finish up on a small island in the Indian Ocean.

New York almost seems like my second home as I was born there and lived there for four years of my early life but I really started to enjoy it as I got older. The atmosphere and people in New York are absolutely amazing and they make you feel welcome like no other state.

New York is considered the city that never sleeps because there is so much to do 24 hours of the day. I flew out with Virgin Atlantic from London Gatwick to Newark airport, which I preferred as it is a slightly smaller airport than JFK and it is only five minutes longer in driving time than going to JFK. It costs approximately $45 plus toll to get to the massive 4* New York Helmsley hotel where I stayed.

After checking in and freshening up, the first thing I did was to have dinner at Houston’s Grill in M

What can I say about the country apart from how fantastic my trip was!

As I work within the travel industry I get to travel a lot and as ebookers is one of the preferred partners with most of the airlines, we always have fantastic deals in our system on a daily basis. The reason why I chose Hong Kong is because a colleague had moved out there and it was a good excuse for me to go to Asia.

I flew out with Virgin Atlantic who were absolutely amazing. As I was a part of their flying club and had enough points saved up, I decided to upgrade myself to Premium economy giving me an extra 7 inches compared to 31 seat pitch (which is still good). We took off on time around 10pm and it did not even seem like my flight was 12 hours long.

Once I got to Hong Kong International Air

Whether it’s shopping in Kuala Lumpur, lying on an undiscovered beach on the East Coast or trekking through one of the oldest rainforests in the world “Taman Negra”, there is something for everyone in Malaysia

Itinerary:

Beach: Kuantan-Cherating, Jungle: Taman Negara, City: Kuala Lumpur

Kuantan-Cherating
We started our Trip on the East Coast, flying with Malaysian Airlines to Kuala Lumpur and catching a connecting flight across to Kuantan; the domestic flight takes approx 45 minutes.

We checked into the Impiana Resort hotel in Cherating, The hotel is situated along 1.2km of golden sand beach, one of the finest beaches on the east coast, where the turtles come once a year and lay their eggs at a sanctuary

Hong Kong after you have finished shopping!

Once you have shopped until you have dropped, been up the Peak Tram and sailed on the Star Ferry, here are some other tips for your visit to Hong Kong!

Lunch by the beach
If you are going by bus to Stanley Market (which is worth a visit even if it is just to stock up on Calvin Klein boxer shorts at 3 pounds each!) you will see some amazing beaches on the way. I recommend you get off the bus at Deep Water Bay, where you can enjoy a first-class lunch at an open-air restaurant called Cocacabana! The restaurant is above the changing rooms on the beach, so you get fabulous sea and beach views.

Reflexology
Just a few doors from the Excelsior Hotel in Causeway Bay, you will find Big Bucket reflexology. For little mor
