Welcome to the ebookers Blog.

This month finds us platypus watching in Australia and exploring caves in Oman. We travel with toddlers in tow and do some deep see fishing while in the area. We pampered ourselves on a cruise.. and then finish up on a small island in the Indian Ocean.

  Vail

Vail has become almost a default ski destination for me, I don’t go there every year but whenever I can’t get a good deal elsewhere or need a last minute destination it seems to be the place of choice. Given the variety of places to ski the reasons for this need to be good and I think they are.

Why North America?
I almost always choose North America over Europe for skiing and there are some key reasons; price, hospitality, and quality. Price may seem odd but to my mind getting there is only part of it. The cost of food and accommodation in Europe is so much higher than in North America especially with the strength of the pound over the dollar. I am strongly of the belief that when this is accounted for the price is actually very similar, and depending on how you eat (the more you eat out the better US prices are) North America may actually end up cheaper. Also if you might buy equipment or clothes while there then it easily comes out best. (That said prices in Vail are expensive for a US resort).

  Petra

I went to Petra on the return journey back from India. As a whole the trip did not disappoint in any way, but of everything I saw Petra stands out the most. I saw the sun set on both the Taj Mahal and Petra, and it was Petra that for me came out best.

If you are after a relaxing holiday this might not be for you and you’ll certainly need more than one day. It is generally said you have to choose between the two high points (by high points I actually mean very high up, though they were also the best parts of the visit). We did both in the same day, which made for a long tiring day but to me I’d have had it no other way.

  Talinn

Let me tell you about Tallinn. Not only because it is my humble home town, but because I actually like it. And I do not want you to miss out on the Big Experience if you have not been there yet.

Google search will tell you it is a capital of Estonia, situated in the North-East corner of Europe, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. It gets very cold in winter and quite hot in summer. The best time to visit – all year round.
